Come Celebrate at Our Final Event of the Runoff - Tonight!

Join us for "Radio Free Jim" tonight, Thursday, July 31!

Yesterday was another big day for our campaign. Civil Rights icon the Rev. Joseph Lowery, Georgia AFL-CIO President Richard Ray, and two past presidents of the Concerned Black Clergy, the Rev. Tim McDonald and the Rev. J.A. Milner, stood with Jim at a morning press conference to publicly announce their endorsement of Jim.

What's more, we learned later in the afternoon that Jim received endorsements from the Sierra Club and Creative Loafing! And did I mention the endorsement of the Georgia Association of Educators and its 40,000-strong membership?

Needless to say, yesterday was quite a day - and today has only begun! So tonight's "Radio Free Jim" event, our final event of the runoff, has all the makings of an exciting occasion!

We hope that you can join Jim and Joan tonight from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Loudermilk Center, 40 Courtland Street, SE, Atlanta, GA 30303 (get directions). If you cannot join us tonight, but would like to make a final contribution for the runoff, you can do so by clicking here.

None of this would have been possible without your hard work in support of our campaign. And for that, Jim, Joan, and the rest of the campaign team are extremely grateful.

Also, don't forget that early voting ends tomorrow. Please visit the Secretary of State's website to find out where and when you can vote in your county today and tomorrow. More than anything, given the abysmally low turnout that pundits are predicting, it is essential that you get out and vote, and that you take a few friends with you. Any registered voter can advance vote at his or her county's advance voting precinct even if he or she did not vote in the July 15th Democratic primary. (Only those who voted in the July 15th Republican primary are excluded.)
